At year end the race organizers off stage to meet and give dates of their competitions.
Well, today is the party. Clubs in their vast majority respect the deadlines laid, organize and incur costs for an organization to better for the riders.
Only here, as everywhere and in every workplace there are those who do not follow the rules which they ask others to subscribe. See
rather with a growing list, races that do not fit the schedule and take a date: The aftermath of Baïnes (513 runners), Trail of Gabelous (320 runners), Trail of Ocean (250 riders), and 10 000 teachers (380 runners comment made on this race October HERE) ..... a shame! An evil
not enough, there are those who change their dates. From this side, the palm is certainly the marathon village announcing a date (10/16/2011) then launches a referendum among riders and to follow up results are quietly 09/10/2011. Blanquefort appreciate our friends ......
Not far behind that we find the winner of the semi Ekiden organizers, who once filed realizes that his dates ..... well hang on his race (November 11) is found in front of 10km of quays of Bordeaux, to this date since forever! So no problem, he decided to move his semi the weekend of 18/09/2011 opposite The Round Parempuyre. Given our rejection of this change of date (in accordance with Regulation HERE), it invokes a new excuse for not available as volunteers took a month later for Arcachon 10km race schedule since the dawn of time .....
short, the weekend of 18/09/2011 you, Cities Run, semi Ekiden, the Trail of the ocean and La Ronde Parempuyre .... If some want to train for a hundred terminals they can always make the total. This means that on two days there will be many races as throughout the month of November, fortunately Avensan returned! I almost forgot, this is also the weekend of Deca-Star .....
Organizers doing so certainly does not realize that for small structures such events are not there to make money but just to live in clubs or associations. The competent persons are organized months in advance (our awards for 2011 are already ordered, etc. ....) volunteers selected for the festivals can be successful with runners satisfied and happy.
Do not be surprised to see us racing away, associates in cuts ( article HERE late August) when the rules are violated.
There is a regulation, or there is good, we keep him and respect him, or he is wrong and we change. But today, why waste time in meetings where the output some people do not care commitments.
